Apartment description:
This is a rather fancy, extremely well equipped and delightful apartment located at walking distance from the Musee des Arts et Metiers to the west, and about 10 minutes north from Beaubourg.
The apartment has a combination of Art Nouveau, Contemporary, and Antique furniture that embellishes and enhances the recent renovating work done by an interior designer and architect who managed to impose an urban modernist decor. Two floors decorated with taste and a wonderful use of the space. At close distance to the entrance, placed behind an arch and facing the dining room, there is a kitchen for your eyes delight. Whether you like cooking or not, this is a place for everyone who likes everything to be in the right place, and for someone who enjoys using fancy kitchen appliances and utensils. Anything ranging from a simple breakfast to a gourmet dinner can be cooked in this very well equipped, American-style kitchen.
The kitchen opens into the spacious livingroom, which features a double sofa bed.The decor is urban modernist. The separate bedroom is on the lower floor (4th floor) and includes a king-sized bed.
The rooms were decorated with a sense of privacy and comfort revealed by the wooden Venetian blinds and heavy dark curtains placed in all windows.
The apartment building on Rue de Reaumur has an easy access to many businesses located right off this same street, and to a large outdoor farmer's market called "Le Marche des enfants Rouge" that takes place on Rue Bretagne, every day except Monday. Besides farmers selling their own products, you can also find here most of what you'll need, ranging from wine, fruits, flowers to oysters, just to name a few. Moreover, within the neighborhood there are many wonderful specialty food shops and bakeries.
Just few blocks southeast off the Theatre du Marais, and northwest of the Musee Picasso, this area is filled with art galleries and antique stores for all tastes. It is also a very practical area of Paris with respect to transportation and places of interest.
