The entrance to this XIXth century building is majestic, a beautiful large staircase takes you up to a private courtyard and garden (there also is a lift), its calm contrasts with the thriving life of the neighbourhood, then comes the second entrance, large and full of light with a marble floor and a glass lift.

The apartment is delightful, found on the second floor of this amazing building redesigned in 1996, it is spacious and has a real feeling of peacefulness that is very relaxing. The entrance leads to the large sitting/dining room on the left and to the bedrooms on the right, thus separating the two spaces, which is very useful (especially if you are on a family trip). The sitting and dining room are full of light that flows in through the two large windows that open on to an amazingly large balcony, ideal for breakfast and evening drinks because it looks over the interior courtyard and is therefore very calm. The kitchen opens on the sitting room, it is fully equipped and very practical, a pleasant place to try out your French cooking. The large corridor on the right of the apartment entrance leads to the bedrooms and bathroom. The bathroom is very cosy and warm. The master bedroom is elegantly and soberly designed, the second bedroom with its trundle bed is perfect for children. Both bedrooms look on to a second courtyard on the other side of the building and are extremely calm, they also have all the cupboard space one could need (and that includes shopping).

The apartment is right in the centre of Paris, a block away from the river Seine or the Museé du Louvres, you are here ideally located to enjoy all the pleasures of Paris from cultural touring to shopping and eating. The area is very lively and safe, just by the entrance you will find a supermarket, and across the Forum des Halles shopping centre, on the right of the Eglise Saint Eustache (one of the most famous Parisian churches) is the Marché Montorgueil, ideal to find fresh food and great wines but also restaurants and cafés. All forms of transport are found locally, and most tourist attractions are either within walking distance or less than half an hour away by public transport. A little plus is that just down the street and across the Pont Neuf, you will find there the Vedettes du Pont Neuf, wonderful guided boat tours on the River Seine, a great way to discover Paris.
