Apartment description:

Located bellow the Basilica of the Sacre Coeur, this apartment is at the heart of the world famous Montmartre neighbourhood. Renowned for its history and beauty, in our minds Montmartre is associated to Edith Piaf (singer), portrayed in the Oscar winning film La Mome (Olivier Dahan), but also to painters such as Picasso, Renoir, Toulouse Lautrec, Degas and many more... The area is also the setting for another box office French film: Amelie (Jean-Pierre Jeunet). Montmartre is architecturally beautiful: low buildings, paved streets, narrow alleyways, cafes and little squares compose the hilly neighbourhood.

On a practical level, you are within walking distance of all types of shops (food, bakery, clothes etc...), transport (metro, bus, taxis) and restaurants. The area is full of life, very safe and is a real representation of Paris and Parisians. The apartment is on the six floor (with an elevator) and has a view on the Sacre Coeur.
