Apartment
description:
An outstanding value for money apartment found in the centre of Paris: A BARGAIN, ideal for a couple or a small family.
This one bedroom apartment is located between the river Seine and the Port de Plaisance de l'Arsenal, one of the only marinas in Paris. The apartment is on the second floor of a classical Parisian building; it is warmly decorated and very practical. The bedroom is quite large and cosy; there is also a sofa bed in the living room, doubling your sleeping capacity. The living space is bright thanks to the two large windows that let the sunlight through. The kitchen, which is open onto the living space, is clean and practical just like the bathroom. There is a peaceful atmosphere about the apartment, which you will be very happy to find when you come home after visiting the joys and beauties of Paris.
The neighbourhood is very safe - the main police station is just round the corner - and also very relaxed. There is a nice and traditional French restaurant one minute down the boulevard and all sorts of nice cafés around, not to mention that our agency is also round the corner. The Bastille area is just behind; it is full of lively and trendy bars, great galleries and amazing wine merchants. Just on the other side of the river Seine is the famous Ile Saint Louis, and its world renowned ice cream maker: la Maison Berthillon. All forms of transport are found locally, the little plus is that being close to the river Seine you can (and must) jump on the Batobus (a bus boat), which will take you all the way down the river to the Eiffel Tower, going via the Louvre and other great cultural and tourist sites. Another great thing is the Jardin des Plantes, found on the other side of the Seine, a beautiful and traditional 200 hundred years old French garden that happens to be the birthplace of the first zoo in the world (La Ménagerie founded in 1794); a great place for walks especially with children.
This apartment is truly a great bargain, it is ideal for a couple or a small family; it is amazingly cheap for its location and extremely practical to visit Paris. A great apartment to enjoy the holiday of your life in the City of Light.
